FireGuard is an ideal way to combine an attractive architectural appearance with fire safety. It is water-based, low VOC, no toxic, low odour, a special formulation for environmentally friendly, suitable for the enclosed area using, easy application, no sagging, no cracking, good film thickness build-up property.
USES
FireGuard is exposed to fire will form a highly efficient foam based on microporous carbon. The form may be up to 100 times thicker than the original coating and has a strong heat insulation effect, is withstand up to 10000C for a surface of metal resist up to 120 minutes and wood resist up to 90 minutes,
PROPERTIES
FireGuard is used to protecting steel structures like airport terminal building, shopping centres, sports centre, power plant, theatres and office buildings. It also can be used for soft board, timber and decorative wooden panels, etc...

Pigmentation: Waterborne polymer, heat resistant pigments and fire retardant materials

Specific Gravity: 1.30 ± 0.05
Non-volatile: 68 ± 2%
Drying Time at (27 ± 2°C & RH 80 ± 5%):
Overcoating interval: 4 hours(in highly humid condition or low-temperature condition recoating interval can be extended)
Theoretical Coverage: 2.0 kgs / m² /mm Dry film thickness
Finish: Matt
Dilution: Do not thin, if necessary up to 5% of water may be added
Storage Condition: Airtight, store in dry and cool conditions
Shelf life: 1 year
Packing: 5 kgs, 20 kgs

APPLICATION CONDITIONS
The surface must be completely clean and dry before apply 6009W. Do not apply when relative humidity is above 85%. The surface temperature must be at least 3°C above the dew point to prevent condensation.
PRODUCT LIABILITY
The Seller warrants the product to be free from manufacturing defects in material and workmanship. The Seller’s sole obligation and Buyer’s exclusive remedy in connection with the products shall be limited at the Seller’s option, to either replacement of products not conforming to this warranty or credit to the Buyer’s account in the invoiced amount of the non-conforming products.

In no event shall the Seller be liable for consequential or incidental damages. Any recommendations or suggestion relating to the use of the products made by the Seller, whether in its technical limitation, or in response to a specific inquiry, or otherwise, is based on data believed to be reliable, however, the products and information are intended for Buyers having the requisite skill and know-how in the industry, and therefore it is for the Buyer to satisfy itself of the suitability of the products for its own particular use, and it shall be deemed that the Buyer has done so, at its sole discretion and risk. Variation in environment changes in procedures of use or extrapolation of data may cause unsatisfactory results.
